2018

Circus Harmony has been using the circus arts to bring hope and encourage social change since 2001 through a program called "Peace Through Pyramids". One year after Hurricane María passed over Puerto Rico in 2017, Circus Harmony created a chapter for Puerto Rico with the ENC and in the summer of 2018 they visited the communities of Adjuntas, San Juan, Yabucoa, Comerío, Dorado, and Vieques, bringing joy and hope through circus art.

"Art is what unites us in our community," he said. "It is the activation of abandoned spaces. It is an action to reclaim community. Not just draw, paint or make sculptures, but a vision of the community, bringing people together to improve public spaces. " Said Edgardo Rodriguez Larregui (artist and activist) during our visit to Comerío, a municipality in Puerto Rico.
